I fix growth problems that are organisational problems in disguise. I usually see where things are stuck within days, and where the real lever lies within a few weeks. That works because I can compare: I have managed budgets in corporations, competed for mandates in agencies, built structures in scale-ups and built my own companies from scratch, from the logo to the balance sheet. I know the table from both sides, so I can quickly tell whether a problem lies in the market, the organisation or the leadership.
What drives me is the combination of three things that rarely come together:
- I like tough commercial challenges.
- I like data, technology and AI, because they show what is really happening.
- And I like people. Making customers happy and developing teams is the reason this work makes sense to me.
The biggest challenge for many companies today is not a lack of ideas, technology or data, but the difficulty of turning them into effective organisations. Marketing, sales, technology and processes are often managed separately, even though growth happens precisely where they meet.
That is where I like to work best: between strategy and execution, between people and technology, between change and results. My focus is on consumer-facing companies, scale-ups and organisations that want to grow or change.
